The refuge is for women and women with children fleeing domestic violence
situations.
The refuge is at a confidential address. It is a four bedroom house
with all the modern amenities. Each family has the privacy of their own
bedroom. The families share the other facilities. The refuge has
high security with security screens on windows and an alarm which alerts of the
police when activated. The refuge has a playroom and playground for
children.
COST: No charge
What do you bring: It is helpful but not essential for women to bring
any personal papers for identification. this helps with legal and
financial matters eg. claiming benefits.
We supply the basic food, bedding and donated clothing.
